NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will be closed during the New Year period. [2024- Sunday, January 5, 2020: 10 days] We have compiled the traffic situation and would like to inform you of it.
≪Overview of traffic conditions≫
- The average daily traffic volume on representative sections was 103% compared to last year.
Last year's traffic volume included the impact of road closures caused by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. - Traffic volume reached its highest on the Out-bound lanes on Monday, December 30th, and on the In-bound lanes on Friday, January 3rd.
- There were no traffic jams longer than 5km.
