Many ostomates refrain from going out due to anxiety about defecation processing, especially when using the Expressway. This time, the long-awaited installation of ostomate-compatible toilets in 13 locations in Tohoku prefecture will break the ostomate's behavior barrier and greatly contribute to the improvement of ostomate's QOL (quality of life). NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office will be equipped with a heating facility for all Western-style toilet seats for toilets in the service area by next winter, and at a rest facility such as the installation of an AED (automatic external defibrillator for resuscitating patients with cardiopulmonary arrest).
