"NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest" will be held!

NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai city, Regional Head Office president: Mikio Kashima) and Nex-area Company Limited Morioka branch (Morioka city, Iwate prefecture, branch manager: Ikufumi Kono) are located in service areas (SA) in both Iwate and Akita prefectures. We will hold "NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest Morioka Block Tournament" for restaurants.

Nowadays, food safety and local production for local consumption have been advocated, to provide customers with "energy" through a menu that uses abundant safe and delicious ingredients produced in the area, and to give customers a better understanding of local ingredients The chefs of seven restaurants will be active, with the theme of circulating "energy" to the community, so that everyone can feel happy and rich.

On the day of the event, Ms. Miharu Takahashi of Morioka University Morioka Cookery College will serve as the chair of the judging committee, and the judges will be diversified by Mr. Takayuki Matsuda, the national champion of the Tsugaru Shamisen, and Ms. Emi Sasaki of Miss Sansa Dance. Will be invited to perform the examination. In addition, the top two works (Michinoku Gourmet Gold and Silver) will advance the pieces to the "NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest Finals" to be held in Tokyo next February.

The 7 works this time will be sold in advance at each SA restaurant from December 18, so please enjoy them.

The chefs of SA restaurants (7 stores) in Iwate and Akita prefectures present their works and compete. The Michinoku Gourmet Gold and Silver Award menus will be exhibited at the "NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest Final Competition" (held in Tokyo).
