[Current situation]
1. Emergency traffic route designation (status within our jurisdiction)
The following roads have been designated as emergency traffic routes by the relevant public safety committees in order to secure traffic routes for emergency vehicles (*1) that carry personnel and materials necessary for disaster emergency measures.
Only emergency vehicles can pass in the target section. Please note that ordinary vehicles cannot pass through.
For safety of emergency vehicles, please wear winter equipment such as studless tires.

3. Damage situation
Currently, there is no information such as injuries on the Expressway.
The following conditions have been confirmed regarding road damage.
- (1) Two places such as the toll booth on the Sendai-Tobu Road the coastal area are submerged in water.
- (2) The following are Expressway in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures.
- Road steps or depressions of several centimeters to 1 meter,
- Such as cracks on the road with a width of several centimeters
- Dozens of damages that could hinder driving were found.
