NEXCO東日本東北支社（仙台市青葉区）は、仙台市勾当台公園において、「ハイウェイフェスタとうほく2014」を開催します。
Enjoying for all the visitors by gathering local people from all over the area along the Expressway six prefectures of Tohoku, and by directly publicizing "things unique to the area" that you can not experience unless you go there. It is an event to have you rediscover the charm of the Tohoku region.
We hope that this event will enhance the vitality of the area and stimulate the willingness to travel, which will lead to the activation of exchanges between areas.
勾当台公園で開催するイベントとしては今年で13回目を迎え、『笑顔をつなぐ』をサブタイトルとしてイベントを盛り上げます。
In addition, we expect about 50,000 visitors in two days.

五所川原立佞武多囃子（ごしょがわらたちねぷたばやし） （青森県）、さんさ踊り（岩手県）、なまはげ太鼓 （秋田県）、仙台すずめ踊り（宮城県）、花笠（はながさ）踊り （山形県）、フラ＆タヒチアンダンス （福島県） - 参加各県のご当地グルメの販売 【屋台ブース】
青森県、岩手県、秋田県、宮城県、山形県、福島県の6県から出店。
