Today, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced that the NEXCO EAST Yamagata Construction Office (Yamagata City, Yamagata) is constructing a high-speed expressway on the Tohoku-Chuo Expressway Soma Obanazawa Line.
The project certification was announced that the land acquisition had already been completed in the entire planned section (about 24.4 km in length) from Nanyo Takahata Interchange (IC) to Yamagata Kamiyama IC on the Tohoku-Chuo Expressway Soma Obanazawa Line It is between entrepreneurial districts (extension about 19.7 km) excluding the section where it is.
Currently, about 98% of the land for the entire planned section has already been acquired, but some landowners have not obtained consent to acquire the site. In the future, we will proceed with the procedure based on the Land Acquisition Law, but we will continue to work on the land negotiation so that we can continue to agree to the land acquisition by voluntary negotiation.
The area between Nanyo Takahata IC and Yamagata Kamiyama IC is being developed with the goal of completion in 2018.
