NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) aims to utilize the function of the double network of Tohoku Expressway and Joban Expressway and further strengthen disaster prevention and crisis management. As below, we divided the management system of "Tohoku Expressway inland area" and "Joban Expressway coastal area" and set up the Sendai East Administration Office in the Sendai East Interchange (IC). We will reorganize the management system in Miyagi Prefecture.
By reorganizing this management system, we will further enhance the safety and security of our customers who use Expressway, ensure the "road of life" in an emergency, and provide a more reliable road space and Expressway Through our business, we will strengthen cooperation with local residents in Miyagi Prefecture and promote tourism and industrial activities.
