NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch (Sendai-shi Aoba-ku), aiming at the early winter tire replacement, will aim to raise a safe driving of snow road driving, in the coming snowfall period, for winter use on expressway We will investigate the mounting condition of the tire and announce the result.
Compared with the survey conducted on the same period last year (conducted on November 16), the winter tire installation rate is high throughout the Tohoku region.
However, about 44% of customers have not yet installed winter tires. Last week, full-scale winter is approaching in the Tohoku region as the first snow was observed in Aomori City, Akita City, Morioka City, and Yamagata City. Please change to early winter tires and drive safely when using the Expressway.
