Construction from reducing the number of available traffic lane from two lanes to one lane, Iwate area Tohoku Expressway On the In-bound line between Ichinoseki IC and Hiraizumi Maesawa IC, a maximum of about 5 km (passage time of about 25 minutes) between 9:00 and 19:00 on July 18-20. 4 Construction overview

Construction of a structure that crosses the Tohoku Expressway has been completed due to the construction of a new Hiraizumi Smart IC between the Tohoku Expressway Ichinoseki IC and Hiraizumi Maesawa IC.
Since this crossing structure was constructed by digging the Tohoku Expressway that was in use, it was constructed by bypassing the Tohoku Expressway, due to the completion of the construction, traffic restrictions will be applied and lanes will be gradually switched. It will be restored to the current road.

5 Requests for use

  1. The construction will be reduced to 2 lanes on each side from 1 lane over the course of approximately 3 km, and one lane on each side will be regulated for day and night. During the construction period, traffic congestion is expected to occur due to continuous day and night lane regulations including weekends and holidays, so if you use this section, we will make further efforts to drive safely. Please make sure you have enough time and schedule when using the service.
  2. When traveling in a lane regulation section, please observe the regulation speed, ensure a sufficient distance between vehicles, and be careful about a rear-end collision accident.
  3. Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
  4. During the construction period, we will provide construction regulation information using road information boards and road signs and call for caution to drive safely. Before riding, please check the above information before riding safely.
