NEXCO EAST Sendai East Management Office (Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City) and Sendai Construction Office (Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City) will carry out maintenance and repair work on the E48 Sendai-Nanbu Road in the Sendai Metropolitan Area High-speed Circular Network (Gurutto Sendai). We will close the road at night to switch lanes due to the additional lane business and repair the pavement on the E6 Sendai-Hokubu Road.
Therefore, when you go out, please leave with plenty of time, and when you drive, please detour to Route 4.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers who use the Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction work necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

  • May 9th (Monday) to 16th (Monday), 4th year of Reiwa
    Every night from 20:00 to 5:00 the next day
  • [Preliminary day: May 17th (Tuesday) to 20th (Friday), Reiwa 4]
• [2] Between Rifu JCT and Tomiya IC (upper and lower lines)
  • May 23rd (Monday) -27th (Friday), 4th year of Reiwa
    Every night from 20:00 to 5:00 the next day
  • [Preliminary day: May 30th (Monday) -June 3rd (Friday), 4th year of Reiwa]

• The nighttime closure will be from 20:00 on weekdays to 5:00 the next morning.
  (Friday night construction will be done until 5 am on Saturday)
• It may be canceled depending on the weather, so please check the latest information from websites such as "DraTra" when using the Expressway.

(1) Maintenance and repair work

We will perform inspections, etc.

(2) Pavement repair work

We will repair the damaged pavement.

(3) Sendai-Nanbu Road additional lane construction

Due to the additional lane construction between Imaizumi IC and Yamada IC, we will carry out lane switching work.
Lane operation will be changed from 5 am on Saturday, May 14th.
