NEXCO EAST　The Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) will be closing the Aomori Road (hereinafter referred to as "Aomori Road") from Aomori Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Aomori Higashi Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E4A Aomori Expressway up and down route during the night due to facility equipment construction and other work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

• The signs such as E4A attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

   Monday, September 29, 2020 - Thursday, October 2, 2020

   Every night from 7pm to 6am the next morning

   Preparation day:

   October 3rd (Friday) – October 7th (Tuesday), 2020

   7:00pm to 6:00am each day (excluding weekends)

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Aomori Road, both upper and lower lines, between Aomori JCT and Aomori Higashi Interchange, will be closed for construction work on aging tunnel lighting, etc. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low and carry out the construction work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as these works are necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
