NEXCO EAST　The Tsuruoka Management Office (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture) will close the E48 Yamagata Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Yamagata Road") from the Yudono-san Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") to the Tsuruoka IC at night due to pavement repair work and periodic inspection of facilities and equipment.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

• The signs such as E48 attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

   Implementation date:

   October 1st (Wednesday) - October 9th (Thursday), 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)

   Preparation day:

   October 14th (Tuesday) - October 17th (Friday), 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

2. Detour

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

At the Yamagata Road Upper and Lower Line Shonai Asahi IC ~ Tsuruoka IC, pavement repair work will be carried out because damage to the road surface has occurred. In addition, at Yudonoyama IC ~ Shonai Asahi IC, we will carry out regular inspections and repair work of facilities and equipment in the provisional two-lane section. In order to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, we will close the road on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This is a necessary construction work for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
