"Welcome! Tohoku 6 Prefectures Spring Travel Fair at Adatara SA" to be held!

NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagi Ward, Sendai City) and NEXCO East Japan Area Tract Tohoku Branch (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will be holding the "Welcome! Tohoku 6 Prefectures Spring Travel Fair in Adatara SA" at the Adatara Service Area (hereinafter "SA") on Out-bound lane of the E4 Tohoku Expressway.
This event aims to help customers visiting the Tohoku region by Expressway to learn more about the region's attractions by introducing tourist information and local specialties from the six Tohoku prefectures. Located at Adatara SA, the first service area in the Tohoku region and the gateway to the region, this special event will allow customers to experience the charms of Tohoku in a fun way. Please take this opportunity to stop by Adatara SA Out-bound.

10:00-16:00 each day

• The event may be canceled due to bad weather, etc. We will announce whether the event will go ahead or not on the official NEXCO EAST (Tohoku) account (@e_nexco_tohoku) at around 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18th.

A large gathering of characters from the six Tohoku prefectures

Local mascots representing the six Tohoku prefectures
(Nebutan, Musubimaru, Hanagata Beni-chan, Momorin, and others) and NEXCO EAST characters will be appearing at the venue!
Greetings from local mascots will be held from ①11:00 and ②15:00 on each day.
You can enjoy interacting with the characters and taking commemorative photos.

If you present a receipt for purchases made at the shopping corner of Adatara SA (Out-bound lane) on the day of the event (over 2,000 yen including tax, combined receipts accepted), you will be entered into a lottery to win tickets to Aquamarine Fukushima, local Tohoku products, and more.

Special photo corner unique to Expressway

You can enjoy taking commemorative photos with "i Kotaro-kun and i Hanako-chan," who you can usually only meet on Expressway.
In addition, those who take photos at photo spots and post them on social media (such as X or Instagram) will receive a free local drink from one of the six Tohoku prefectures.
