Aomori Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Akita Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture, and NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai City) are holding the "Let's Drive More! Tohoku 6 Prefectures Check-in Trip 2026 Gift Campaign" for a limited time starting today, as part of the Tohoku tourism support project "TOHOKU QUEST".

"TOHOKU QUEST" is a mystery-solving sightseeing tour where participants use quests (problems) related to tourist spots throughout the Tohoku region as clues, searching for keywords to find target spots (tourist spots, etc.). Participants can enjoy the tour by actually visiting the spots they found after solving the quests and checking in using their smartphone's GPS function.
This time, we will once again be holding a limited-time gift campaign where those who meet the specified achievement conditions can win prizes such as accommodation vouchers for hotels and hot spring inns throughout the Tohoku region, as well as local specialty products.
Furthermore, in order to create opportunities to discover new attractions throughout the Tohoku region, we have set up tourist destinations themed around "gourmet food," "culture," and "history" as quest targets. This time, we have added 60 new locations, bringing the total number of attractive spots to 120.

4. How to participate (for first-time participants)

1. Obtaining a User ID

2. Solve the quest (problem statement)
   After registering as described in (1) above, use the quest as a clue to search for keywords and enter the 7-digit postal code of the spot (tourist destination, etc.) that you think is the answer. If you answer correctly, you will be able to view detailed information about the location.
3. Head to the spot and check in
   After answering (2) above correctly, head to the spot and check in using your smartphone's GPS (location information service) function.
4. Enter the giveaway campaign (limited time only)
   Please submit your application through the application form during the specified period.
   After entering, if you check in at a designated location and meet the conditions for each prize, you will be automatically entered into the corresponding prize based on your achievement status at the end of the campaign.

(Note) If you have been participating since last year, you can participate in the gift campaign using your already registered User ID. However, check-ins at locations made before the start of this campaign will not be counted towards the achievement conditions, so you will need to check in at the target locations again during the campaign period.
