NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Sendai City, Miyagi Regional Head Office) will conduct a spring traffic safety campaign in conjunction with the nationwide spring traffic safety campaign to be held from Monday, April 6th to Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, Expressway locations including interchanges (hereinafter "IC"), service areas (hereinafter "SA"), and parking areas (hereinafter "PA") on expressways within the Tohoku Branch's jurisdiction, in collaboration with relevant organizations such as Expressway traffic police units of each prefecture, as detailed below.
This campaign aims to achieve "zero" traffic fatalities by distributing leaflets and novelty items to customers to raise awareness about preventing pedestrian accidents, wrong-way driving accidents, and distracted driving on Expressway.
