NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai City), Miyagi Prefectural Road Corporation (Aoba-ku, Sendai City), and the Fukushima Prefecture Destination Campaign Executive Committee (Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture) have extended the validity period of the currently available "Tohoku Sightseeing Free Pass - Shiawase no Kaze Fukushima Set Plan" (hereinafter referred to as "this plan") until Friday, December 25, 2026, due to its popularity.
This plan is an advantageous highway discount product exclusively for ETC vehicles, which allows unlimited use of expressways within the designated areas of either the "Tohoku 6 Prefectures Tour Course" or the "Fukushima Miyagi Tour Course" for four days at a fixed price, provided that you use one of the more than 100 "tourism, experience, accommodation, and Expressway spring facilities" (hereinafter referred to as "eligible facilities") spread throughout Expressway Prefecture during the period you have applied for. In addition, you can receive special benefits exclusive to this set plan at some eligible facilities.
Sales began in January 2026, and the pass has been used by many customers traveling around Fukushima Prefecture, which is currently bustling with the "Fukushima Destination Campaign." How to use	Apply via the internet Please apply through NEXCO EAST website "DraPla". Please search for "Tohoku Sightseeing Free Pass" on search engines. Using Expressway Please use Expressway with the ETC card and vehicle type you registered when you applied. Please apply for this plan before using Expressway. Use of applicable facilities throughout Fukushima Prefecture When paying at the reception desk or other location of a participating facility in Fukushima Prefecture, please present the "Set Plan Coupon Screen" linked in the application completion email to the staff. On the "Set Plan Coupon Screen," enter the special code provided by the staff at the participating facility, and make sure that the screen shows "Used." Please note that if the "Set Plan Coupon Screen" does not show "Used," this plan will not apply and you will be charged the regular Expressway toll. Notes	This plan will come into effect when you have traveled in a manner that is applicable to this plan and have confirmed the use of one of the eligible facilities.
