NEXCO EAST Sendai Management Office (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") will be closed at night on both the inbound and outbound lanes, specifically on the exit and entrance ramps of the Ohira Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC"), due to pavement repair work.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please use the interchanges before or after this location to take a detour. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your journey.

The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow extra time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway　Due to damage to the road surface on the exit and entrance ramps at the Ohira Interchange, we will be conducting pavement repair work. The work will be performed on a single lane; since standard lane restrictions would not allow for the work to be carried out, it will be necessary to close the ramps to perform the work.To minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps during weekday nights when traffic volume is low, allowing us to carry out the work intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure the safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
