NEXCO EAST Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) will open its apple orchard to the public so that customers using Expressway can relax and unwind from driving fatigue through an apple-picking experience. We would like to inform you that an opening ceremony will be held as follows.
At the apple orchard at the Tsugaru Service Area (hereinafter referred to as "SA") on 　the E4 Tohoku Expressway, both northbound and southbound, we cultivate 47 apple trees of eight varieties, including Aomori Prefecture's representative variety "Fuji," as well as "Tsugaru," "Senshu," and "Starking." In addition, we will be affixing "Safe Driving" stickers to the cultivated apples and using sun-tanned apples to promote traffic safety. Furthermore, at the opening ceremony, the children of Takagi Children's Garden, a social welfare corporation, will perform a dance.

• The ceremony will go ahead in the event of light rain, but may be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
