We would like to inform you of the outline of NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)'s financial results for 2024 (ending March 2025), which is its 20th fiscal year.
This fiscal year covers one year from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

Key Points of 2024 Financial Results (Consolidated)

1. In Expressway operations, operating revenue increased 52.7 billion yen year on year to 1,097.8 billion yen due to increases in toll revenue and road asset completion volume compared to the previous fiscal year. Operating expenses increased 55.4 billion yen year on year to 1,099.4 billion yen due to increases in road asset rental fees to the Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Agency, road asset completion costs, and management expenses.
   As a result, Expressway business recorded an operating loss of 1.5 billion yen (compared to an operating profit of 1.1 billion yen in the previous fiscal year).
2. In the service area (SA) and parking area (PA) business, operating revenue increased 1.2 billion yen year on year to 35.2 billion yen due to an increase in store sales compared to the previous fiscal year, and operating expenses increased 900 million yen year on year to 30.9 billion yen.
   As a result, the SA/PA business achieved an operating profit of 4.2 billion yen (compared to an operating profit of 3.9 billion yen in the previous fiscal year), and the related businesses as a whole, including contracted and other businesses, achieved an operating profit of 4.7 billion yen (compared to an operating profit of 4.4 billion yen in the previous fiscal year).
3. The total business, including Expressway operations and related businesses, posted an operating profit of 3.1 billion yen (previous year: operating profit of 5.5 billion yen) and a net profit of 5.8 billion yen (previous year: net profit of 8.7 billion yen).
