Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) on March 10, 2007 Tsukuba Ushiku IC-, about a year after the opening of the line. We are pleased to inform you that the situation has been put together for a year after the opening.
Traffic on the Ken-O Road increased by about 30% compared to before opening
- Ken-O Road traffic volume of (Tsukuba JCT ~ Tsukuba Ushiku IC) is compared with the previous opening, about 30% increase
- About 10% increase 1 year after opening compared to 3 months after opening
The parallel traffic volume of National Route 408 and National Route 125 has decreased by about 10% compared to before the opening. Congestion loss decreased by about 30% (about 500,000 hours, about 1.5 billion yen).
- The traffic conversion to the Ken-O Road has become established. The parallel traffic volume of National Route 408, National Route 125, etc. is reduced by about 10% compared to before the opening.
- As a result, the congestion on National Routes 125 and 408 was alleviated, and the traffic loss per year was reduced by about 500,000 hours, or about 1.5 billion yen.
From these things, it seems that the use of Ken-O Road has become established.
Even after the opening of the Amihigashi IC, companies have made good progress, and outlet malls have also decided to open stores.
- 2 companies from Ami East IC "Ami Eastern Industrial Park" will be opened by 5 companies after opening
- An outlet mall with a site area of about 17 ha will be opened at a commercial and business facility site in the "Ami Yoshiwara Higashi Land Development Project" area adjacent to the Ami Higashi IC
Continue, Ken-O Road will continue to promote the development of.
- In Ibaraki prefecture, 13.5km from Tsukuba JCT to Amihigashi IC is currently open. (As of March 31, 2008)
The opening between Amihigashi IC and Edosaki IC (tentative name) is scheduled for opening in 2008.
