NEXCO EAST Kisarazu Construction Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba, Director: Mototsugu Omori) aims to complete in 2010, Togane Interchange (IC) of Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road)-Mobara We are proceeding with the construction work of the Chonan IC (tentative name) (currently, land acquisition rate is about 89%, main line construction order rate is about 83%).
Of these, the construction of the Yahata Viaduct (tentative name), which will be connected to the already opened Chiba-Togane Road and will be the main line of Ken-O Road in the future, is scheduled for midnight on Tuesday, October 21. Will be carried out. Since this work will be run over the national highway No. 126, we will bypass the national highway and perform the installation work overnight using a leading 800t large crane in Japan. On the day of the event, we will prepare a safe space for the general public and those involved in the press, so please take a look at the bridge construction using a large crane, which is rarely seen on this occasion.

Ken-O Road Yawata Viaduct (tentative name), which will be the main bridge of the Ken-O Expressway, is a steel 3-span continuous composite box girder bridge with a bridge length of 199m and maximum span length of 72m. The part of the bridge girder (weight of about 240 tons) over General Road 126 is pre-assembled on the ground (ground yard) near the construction site.
