NEXCO EAST Takasaki Management Office (Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture) will repair the pavement at the entrance of the Kan-Etsu Expressway Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange (IC) towards Niigata.
As a result of this construction, customers using the Kan-Etsu Expressway towards Niigata should use Route 17 and the Tsukiyono IC. (Akagi IC, Showa IC, and Numata IC can be used as usual.)
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by closing the entrance at night, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as it is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment on the Expressway.

During the construction period, the entrance will be closed only at night each day, and you can use it as usual during the day.
- If construction is completed early, regulations may be lifted earlier than planned.
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- The decision will be made at 16:00 on the day.

2 Detour route map
If you are using Kan-Etsu Expressway (toward Niigata), it is convenient to access Route 17 and detour to Tsukiyono IC. Attachment [PDF: 122KB]
Kan-Etsu Expressway It usually takes about 20 minutes between Shibukawa Ikaho IC and Tsukiyono IC, and about 40 minutes if you detour from Shibukawa Ikaho IC on Route 17. It will take about 20 minutes longer, so please take time to go out. (Akagi IC, Showa IC, and Numata IC can be used as usual.)
3 Construction overview
We will repair damages such as steps and cracks on the pavement surface to improve running performance and safety.
4 How to obtain road traffic information regarding traffic restrictions
