NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) has been carrying out bridge renewal work on the C3 Gaikan Expressway (Outer Ring Road) since Monday, May 29th.
The third week of construction will start from 10:00 am on Monday, June 12th. Because heavy traffic will occur during construction, C4 Please cooperate with the detour to the Metropolitan area central connecting road (Ken-O Road).
- The second week of construction began on Monday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m., and involved reinforcing the steel deck with steel fiber reinforced concrete between Kawaguchi Nishi IC and Toda Higashi IC on the inner loop, and was completed at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th.
- During the construction, there was a traffic jam of up to 10.9km, and it took up to 76 minutes (usually 19 minutes) to pass between Misato JCT and Bijogi JCT.
- The third week of construction will continue on the outer loop from Wako Kita IC to Toda Nishi IC from 10:00 AM on Monday, June 12th to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14th.
During the construction, it is expected to take just under an hour to get through the traffic jam. Please take detours such as Ken-O Road or use other means of transportation. - Construction period: June 5 (Monday) 10:00 am to June 6 (Tue) 21:30
- Construction regulation: Continuous lane regulation of approximately 1,600 m
- Traffic congestion: Monday, June 5th, 10:15am - 8:25pm (maximum 6.7km around 6pm)
June 6th (Tuesday) 5:55am-8:15pm (Maximum 10.9km, 7am-8am) - Travel time: Maximum 76 minutes from Misato JCT to Bijogi JCT (normally 19 minutes around 8:00 on the 6th)
