At the NEXCO EAST Kazo Management Office (Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture), damaged pavement at the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter "Tohoku Expressway Expressway") Hanyu Interchange (hereinafter "IC") and Iwatsuki IC.・ We will close the lamp at night to repair the bridge and take measures to prevent reverse running.

2. Construction overview

Since the road surface has been damaged at the entrance ramp of the Tohoku Expressway Hanyu IC and the exit ramp of the Iwatsuki IC, we will carry out pavement repair work. At the exit lamp of Hanyu IC, the expansion and contraction device main body installed at the joint between the bridges is damaged, so we will replace the expansion and contraction device.
In addition, at the entrance ramp of the Iwatsuki IC, we will carry out reverse-way driving countermeasure work (road marking, color pavement) to prevent accidents on the Expressway.
Since the section where this work is performed is one lane and construction cannot be done under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the lamp and perform the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when traffic is light and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
