E17 Kan-Kan-Etsu Expressway Hanazono IC night lamp closure has been postponed due to stormy weather.
As of December 9th (Friday), the roads will be closed as follows.

  1. Hanazono IC Route 140 Entrance ramp from Chichibu/Yorii December 12 (Monday) 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning
  2. Entrance ramp to Hanazono IC In-bound line (towards Tokyo) Tuesday, December 13, 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

Reserve days: December 14th (Wednesday) - 16th (Friday), 19th (Monday) 20:00 - 6:00 the next morning

If construction is canceled due to stormy weather, etc., construction will be carried out in the order of (1) → (2) on the above-mentioned spare days.

NEXCO EAST Tokorozawa Management Office (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture) will close the ramp for pavement repair work at the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter "Kan-Etsu Expressway Expressway") Hanazono Interchange (hereinafter "IC").
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

  • In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to a spare day. Please see the attached document [PDF: 357KB] for additional dates and detours in case of postponement.
  • If the ramp construction is postponed due to stormy weather, construction will be carried out on a spare day after Friday, December 9th.
    The construction order on the spare day will be ①⇒②⇒③.
  • We will inform you of the implementation decision on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.
  • We will inform you about the closure of the preliminary day on DraTra and Twitter.

2. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at Kan-Etsu Expressway Hanazono IC, we will carry out pavement repair work. The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway.

3. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
  • On the day of the ramp closing, a detour sign will be installed at the main intersection of the detour.
