NEXCO EAST Niigata branch (Niigata city Chuo Ward), from December 5 (Tue)E7 Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway Between Nakajo IC and Arakawa IC in IC, we will carry out night traffic closures to install wire ropes on the small and medium bridges (bridges with a bridge length of less than 50m) on the temporary 2-lane section.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation, as it will be a closed road required to use the Expressway safely, safely and comfortably.

Construction overview
Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway In April of this year, between the Nakajo IC and the Arakawa Tonai IC, a wire rope was trial installed as part of the traffic safety measures in part of the provisional two-lane section (earthwork department). We will also install a wire rope on a part of the medium and small bridges (bridges with a bridge length of less than 50 m). In addition, wire rope will be installed in the earthworks section between bridges (section where wire rope has not been installed) along with the construction work of wire rope in the small and medium bridges, and the wire rope section will be extended to strengthen traffic safety measures.
In order to minimize the impact of this construction on our customers, we will close the road at night when traffic is light, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
