NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will be closed at night due to 4-lane construction, etc. between the E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway (upper and lower lines) Shinanomachi Interchange (IC) and Joetsu Junction (JCT).
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as it is a road closure necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway

Closing period
- The road will be closed from 20:00 each day to 6:00 the next morning.
Lane switching
From Wednesday, August 28, between Nakago IC and Arai PA (Out-bound line), from Thursday, August 29, between Shinanomachi IC and Myoko Kogen IC (Out-bound line), from Wednesday, September 11 Some lanes will switch between Myoko Kogen IC and Myoko SA (Out-bound We apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers traveling on this section, but we ask that you make further efforts to drive safely.
