NEXCO EAST Tsuruoka Management Office (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture) is a 2-lane section (1 lane on each side) E48 Yamagata Expressway Yudenyama Interchange (IC) -Shonai Asahi IC will be closed at night as follows for pavement repair work and tunnel lighting work.
This work is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for Expressway. We will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers by taking measures such as traffic closures at night when traffic volume decreases. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

4 Construction details
We will perform pavement repair work, tunnel lighting work, inspection and repair of equipment in the tunnel, accident recovery, facility cleaning work.

We will repair the places where cracks and steps on the pavement surface are noticeable.
Tunnel lighting construction
We will work to replace the high pressure sodium lamps with LED lamps in the tunnel.
