This time, the E4 Tohoku Expressway Sugo Smart Interchange (IC), which has been jointly developed by Miyagi Prefecture, Murata Town, and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino Ward, Sendai City), has been completed. We are pleased to inform you that we will open at 15:00 on Saturday, March 25th.
The Sugo Smart IC will connect to the existing Sugo Parking Area (PA) as a rest facility-connected ETC-dedicated IC, shortening the access time to Expressway for regional development and improving accessibility to tertiary emergency medical facilities. , it is expected to improve the convenience of Sendai Airport.

9. How to use smart IC
◆ Smart IC is an interchange exclusively for ETC.
- To use it, insert an ETC card into the ETC on-board unit and pass.
- Be sure to stop before the opening / closing bar of the smart IC.
- If the open / close bar does not open, please inform the staff.
