NEXCO EAST Sendai Management Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) will be closed at night at the Out-bound exit ramp of the E4 Tohoku Expressway Sendai-Miyagi Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") for repairing the bridge expansion section.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

1. Closed location and date and time

    Tohoku Expressway Out-bound Line Sendai Miyagi IC Exit Ramp (Exit from the direction of Fukushima)

Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway Out-bound Line At the exit ramp of Sendai Miyagi IC, the expansion and contraction part of the bridge is damaged, so we will carry out repair work. The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
