NEXCO EAST Sendai Management Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) will close the entrance/exit ramp of the E4 Tohoku Expressway Wakayanagi Kanari Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") at night due to pavement repair work.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

2. Detour

Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Since the pavement is damaged at the entrance ramp of Wakayanagi Kanari IC on Tohoku Expressway Up and Down Line, we will carry out pavement repair work. The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
