NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will hold "NEXCO EAST New Menu Contest" from Monday, October 15, 2018. This contest will be held as part of our "Hanazukuri" service area / parking area (SA / PA) initiative, which aims to create unique and attractive stores that take advantage of the characteristics and features of the region.
Development theme: "Local" # Photoge Meat "
In this 13th contest, a total of 121 items were exhibited from SA / PA's food court, and we were particular about the color and appearance that makes us want to upload to SNS unintentionally in the price setting of 1,200 yen including tax. We will compete for how we can develop a local one-plate menu that uses meat.
Joban Expressway Tomobe SA (In-bound Line) Special Seed
It will appear from the final tournament with the Joban Expressway Tomobe SA (In-bound line) that won the grand prix at the previous tournament (2017) as a special seed. The representatives from each region who have won the qualifying will challenge the "last champion" who awaits in the final.
Conduct customer voting and Instagram campaign
We will conduct a customer vote from a special website to select representatives of each region. In addition, we will also carry out an Instagram campaign that is conscious of SNS, which is one of the theme. A total of 250 people will be given a "shopping ticket that can be used in SA / PA in East Japan" by lottery from those who voted or participated in the campaign.
The new menu contest exhibition menu will start selling at participating stores from Monday, October 15. In addition, details of the menu and sales locations will be posted on a special website on our website “DraPla”.

About NEXCO EAST New Menu Contest
1 Number of participating menus
As shown in the table below, we will hold block qualifying and block competitions to select regional representatives by dividing them into nine blocks.
However, Joban Expressway Tomobe SA (In-bound line), which won the Grand Prix at the previous tournament (2017), will be exempt from the block qualifying and block tournament as a seed frame, and will participate from the final tournament.

Qualifying method
Installed to posters and published in the block by the QR code or in the leaflet to the participating store DraPla will have access to special WEB site than, customers can vote for the menu you want to eat. The top three menus with the most votes in each block have advanced to the block competition.

- Shopping tickets use period: 2018 December 17 (Monday) -2019 February 28 (Thursday)

- Winners will be announced upon delivery of the prize.
4 block competition
At block tournaments held in each region, the menu for advancing to the final tournament is decided by the examination of food experts.
