NEXCO EAST Niigata branch (Niigata city Chuo Ward) compiled the traffic situation of the Bon Festival period.
[Summary of traffic conditions]
- The year-on-year change in the average daily traffic volume of the main sections, About 1% decrease Did.
- The number of times of traffic over 5km 8 times, 1 increase from the previous year Did.
(Of these, the number of traffic jams due to traffic concentration was 5 and decreased 1 year on year.) - 期間中に発生した最大の渋滞は、E18上信越道（下り線）上越高田IC～妙高高原ICで8月12日（土）12時頃に発生した交通集中を要因とする『11.5km』でした。
