Congestion on Out-bound direction occurs mainly in the morning,

1. 1. Congestion forecast

(1) Number of traffic jams over 10km

  1. Out-bound includes "outer loop" on the C3 Gaikan Expressway and C4 Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road), and "eastbound" on the E50 Kita-Kita-Kanto Expressway. For the C3 Gaikan Expressway, the direction (clockwise) toward Takaya JCT is called the “outer loop,” and for the C4 Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road), the direction (clockwise) toward the Daiei JCT is called the “outer loop.” and On the E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway, the direction toward Mito Minami IC is "eastbound."
  2. In-bound includes "inner loop" on C3 Gaikan Expressway and C4 Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road), and "westbound" on E50 Kita-Kita-Kanto Expressway. 3. Customer Service Efforts (Countermeasures against Congestion)

We will work to strengthen customer services, such as alerting customers to rear-end collisions at the end of traffic jams, arranging parking lot control staff at rest facilities, installing temporary toilets, and securing large vehicle parking spaces (For details, see [Attachment-4] [PDF: 314KB]).

Four. Congestion in the direction of CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Out-bound

During the Obon period, use the CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway on the Metropolitan ExpresswayWe predict that traffic congestion will extend to the Wangan Route (see [Attachment-5] [PDF: 430KB] for details).

Five. Holiday discounts are not applied during the Obon period.

During the Obon period, in order to avoid intensifying traffic congestion, the holiday discount will not be applied even if you use it from August 11 (Friday / holiday) to 13 (Sunday), which is subject to the holiday discount.
