NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office President: Shinichi Ishikawa) and Nexeria East Japan Nagano Branch (Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, Branch Manager: Ichiro Matsunaga) aim to create unique stores in the service area (SA). As a part of "making," we will hold the "NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest Nagano Block Qualifying Session," with the theme of "local menu that is healthy in body and mind."

At the Nagano block qualifying event, six SA restaurants located in the Kanto Regional Head Office of Joshinetsu and Nagano will compete for a new menu that uses plenty of local ingredients, and the one that has been selected as the grand prize will be next year. We will challenge the final competition held in Tokyo in February.

Nowadays, food safety and local production for local consumption have been advocated, to provide customers with "energy" through a menu that uses abundant safe and delicious ingredients produced in the area, and to give customers a better understanding of local ingredients The theme of this menu is to encourage people to feel happy and affluent by circulating "energy" in the community.

5 conditions

(1) Use local ingredients including the main dish.
(2) The menu should meet the keyword "genki".
(3) The selling price (price including tax) shall be 1,000 yen or more and 1,500 yen or less.
(4) As a general rule, from March 2010, continue selling in the area for one year.

6 Examination method

After a tasting examination by seven people such as cooking experts and customer representatives, the work of one store that won the highest prize will be exhibited at the final competition (held on February 25, 2010 (Thursday)).
