Compliance Initiatives

Group promotion system and open contact points

Compliance promotion officers are appointed at each workplace and group company, and each officer takes the initiative in their activities, regularly sharing information, and exchanging opinions to further promote their activities.
We have set up a reporting and consultation desk at each company to ensure early detection and resolution of issues.

Code of Ethical Conduct - Raising awareness among individuals -

All employees carry a card containing the "Code of Ethical Conduct" and act with a constant awareness of the principles of conduct. In particular, the code provides "four criteria for decision-making when in doubt" to help employees practice high corporate ethics and socially sensible behavior.

4 criteria when in doubt

When we are unsure of what action we should take, we make decisions based on the following criteria.

  1. Do you violate laws and regulations?
  2. Do you not damage the trust and brand of NEXCO EAST Group?
  3. Whether the judgment is made after paying considerable attention based on sufficient information
  4. Whether your judgment can be explained to your family or friends with confidence

We have established "Unreasonable Demands Prevention Liaison Councils" at Regional Head Office in cooperation with each police headquarters and the Anti-Boryokudan Movement Promotion Center, and have built a cooperative system with related organizations to take firm action.

Procurement that ensures fairness, transparency, and competitiveness

We provide ethical education to ensure proper procurement in compliance with laws and regulations, and strive to thoroughly manage information related to procurement procedures, such as contract price limits. We are also promoting digital transformation through the disclosure of information on procurement procedures and results, as well as electronic contracts and guarantees, and are practicing "transparent procurement" for all those who wish to bid.
