NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office Director: Shinichi Ishikawa) and Nexeria East Japan Keiyo Branch (Koto-ku, Tokyo, Branch Manager: Kenji Hayashi), Domito Branch (Ibaraki) Mito City, Japan, Branch Manager: Masaaki Matsumoto), Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (President and Chief Executive Officer: Kazuto Aono), as part of the "Hana-making" aiming to create a unique store in the service area (SA), We will hold "NEXCO EAST 4th New Menu Contest, Chiba/Ibaraki Block Qualifying Meeting" with the theme of "local menu with healthy mind and body".
At the Chiba/Ibaraki block qualifying event, eight stores from SA/PA, which has restaurants in Chiba and Ibaraki prefectures, competed for a new menu using plenty of local ingredients, and received the highest and the highest awards2 The store will challenge the final competition to be held in Tokyo next February.

Nowadays, food safety and local production for local consumption have been advocated, to provide customers with "energy" through a menu that uses abundant safe and delicious ingredients produced in the area, and to give customers a better understanding of local ingredients The theme of this menu is to encourage people to feel happy and affluent by circulating "energy" in the community.
5 conditions
- Use local ingredients including the main dish.
- The menu should be suitable for the key word "genki".
- The selling price (price including tax) is 1,000 yen or more and 1,500 yen or less.
- As a general rule, it should be sold in the area from March 2010.
6 Examination method
The 7 winners, including the food experts and the representatives of the customers, will perform the tasting examination, and the two works that won the grand prize and the excellent prize will be exhibited at the final competition (held on February 25, 2010 (Thursday)).
