NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Nishi-ku, Niigata City) and Nex-area Company Limited Niigata Branch (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) are targeting the service area (SA) in Niigata Prefecture with the "NEXCO EAST 5th New Menu Contest Niigata Block Preliminary Meeting". The chef of the restaurant (4 stores) in SA in Niigata Prefecture said, "I would like to provide a place for families with children to slowly eat and talk with parents during the trip. We hope that a menu that uses local ingredients, rather than just a "child lunch", will trigger "conversation" and "dandan" between parents and children. I will.

On the day of the event, we will compete for the purpose of exhibiting at the "NEXCO EAST 5th New Menu Contest" held in Tokyo, and after cooking, tasting and giving a presentation, we will select one from four works.

The four works that will be exhibited at this qualifying session will be on sale at each SA restaurant in Niigata Prefecture from March 2011, so please enjoy them.

The chefs of SA restaurants (4 stores) in Niigata prefecture will present their works and compete.

The best work from the Niigata block qualifying event will be exhibited at the finals held in Tokyo next March, and will compete with the works selected in other blocks to aim for the grand prix.
