NEXCO EAST Fukushima Management Office (Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture) E4 Tohoku Expressway Between Fukushima Iizaka Interchange (IC) and Shiraishi IC, we will carry out nighttime closures as follows due to bridge construction work associated with the construction project.

2 suspension period
2019 From 2pm to 6pm the following night on Tuesday, April 2 (closed for up and down lines)
- The Kunimi Service Area (SA) (upper and lower lines) will be closed at 20 o'clock one hour before the start of traffic closure.
2019 April 8th to 11th (Thursday)
- As a general rule, we do not work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
- Please be sure to check the latest information when using the Expressway, as the closing time may change depending on the weather.

4 Construction details
Tohoku Expressway (between Fukushima Iizaka IC and Shiraishi IC), bridge construction will be carried out at the Kuwaori Junction that is under construction with the main line closed.
After the suspension of traffic is closed, you can continue to drive normally.
5 Regarding transfer fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
Passengers who exit the Expressway due to suspension of traffic, bypass the section of suspension of traffic, and then transfer again in the same direction, will make "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the segment used. [Attachment-2] [PDF: 180KB]
