[E4] Malfunction of the reporting device at the Hodosaka Tunnel (Out-bound Tohoku Expressway

NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) implemented "No entry into the tunnel" measures at 4:36 on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the E4 Tohoku Expressway Hodosaka Tunnel due to a malfunction of the reporting device. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to many customers.

This event was issued by a reporter of the Hodosaka Tunnel between Matsuo Hachimantai IC and Ashiro IC on the E4 Tohoku Expressway Out-bound line) of the Hodosaka Tunnel was taken from 4:36 to 5:03. It was carried out for 27 minutes.
This effect has caused inconvenience to many customers.

2 Future action

We are currently investigating the cause of the malfunction of the malfunctioning reporter, and will take appropriate measures as soon as the cause is identified.
