Change lane operation

The purpose of the change in lane operation to be constructed this time is to prevent excessive concentration of vehicles in the overtaking lane, and it can be expected that traffic will be smoother and lead to the prevention of traffic accidents.
With this measure, the lane operation will be increased to increase the number of overtaking lanes in the section where the number of lanes near the Wakokita IC changes from 2 to 3. The section from the 3rd lane to the 2nd lane near Wako IC will be operated in a lane where the first lane will decrease, and the lane boundary of the 2nd lane section will change from the white dashed line to the white solid line. In addition, the signs will be changed/newly installed so that the destination is easy to understand for each lane.
