​The E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway Komayose Smart Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "Smart IC"), which has been developed by Maebashi City, Yoshioka Town and NEXCO EAST Takasaki Management Office (Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture), will be released on July 16, 3 (Friday) From 15:00, we will start operation for large vehicles. As a result, Komayose Smart IC will be available for all models equipped with ETC on-board equipment.

Four. How to use smart IC

■ Smart IC ETC only This is IC.

• To use it, insert an ETC card into the ETC on-board unit and pass.
• Be sure to stop before the opening / closing bar of the smart IC.
• This smart IC does not have local staff. In case of trouble such as the opening / closing bar not opening, please use the intercom in the lane.

   It is expected that the Ground Self-Defense Force (Somahara station) will expedite disaster relief activities and form and strengthen an emergency transportation network with disaster prevention bases (Gunma Prefecture Regional Disaster Prevention Center / Roadside Station).
