Regarding non-issuance of transfer certificates due to road closure at the Soga Toll Gate Keiyo Road

At the Soga Toll Gate Keiyo Road, managed by NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), during the road closure described below, it was not possible to issue transfer certificates to some customers who used a system other than ETC. As a result, it is possible that customers who needed toll transfer adjustments were not able to make such adjustments.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, and will do our best to prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future.

Target customers

Due to the impact of a vehicle fire that occurred on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Tateyama Expressway was closed between Ichihara Interchange and Anesaki-Sodegaura Interchange (Out-bound lane) from 6:00 PM to 7:40 PM. As a result, some customers got off Expressway at the Soga toll gate exit, one stop before Ichihara Interchange, drove on a local road, and then got back on Expressway using a system other than ETC.
If you transfer using ETC, the toll will be adjusted accordingly.

Requests to customers

If you believe this may be the case, please contact our Customer Center. We will check the receipt you received at the Soga toll gate exit and the receipt for your transfer, and if the toll has not been adjusted for transfers, we will adjust it to the adjusted fare.
