3 Frequently Asked Questions

Q1 How is the refund amount calculated?
Answer
Calculate using the following formula.
Refund amount = number of remaining highway cards x (sales amount / face value) * Rounding up fractions less than 1 yen

Example 1
In the case of unused 50,000 yen tickets (sales amount 50,000 yen, face value 58,000 yen, unused balance 58,000 yen)
The remaining 58,000 yen x (sales amount 50,000 yen / face value 58,000 yen) = 50,000 yen will be refunded.

Example 2
When the unused balance of a 10,000 yen ticket (sales price 10,000 yen, face value 10,500 yen) is 5,000 yen
We will refund the remaining number of 5,000 yen x (sales amount of 10,000 yen / 10,500 yen) = 4,762 yen.
