"New Expressway Toll" (NEXCO EAST, NEXCO CENTRAL, NEXCO WEST announced on March 14, 2014) will be introduced from April 1, 2014.
With this introduction, NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) would like to ask our customers for their understanding and cooperation as follows.
1 For customers who pay cash on Expressway tolls
- With the increase in the consumption tax rate from April 2014, the Expressway fee will be 10 yen.
- When paying fees in cash, we will prepare coins in advance for smooth passage through the toll booth. Please
2 For customers who use the general lane of the tollgate with vehicles equipped with ETC (those who require a usage certificate)
- At the exit toll booth If you wish to issue a usage certificate, please use the ETC lane at the entrance toll gate and use the lane marked "ETC/general" or "general" at the exit toll gate Please hand over the ETC card to the staff and tell us.
At the toll booths where payment is to be made at the entrance of the Tokyo Outer Ring Road, please hand in your ETC card to the staff at that time. - Discounts for "Weekday morning and evening discounts", "ETC mileage service", and "Large-quantity/frequently-discounted discounts" are not reflected in the amount of usage certificate.
