NEXCO East Japan Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture) is working at Gaikan Expressway (inside) to reduce traffic congestion that is chronically occurring on weekday mornings. The West IC entrance will be closed from Monday, October 19, 2015 to Friday, October 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 (1 hour) every morning. You can use the Toda Nishi IC (outside) exit.
We apologize for any inconvenience to those who plan to use the Toda Nishi IC, but since this is an effort to alleviate traffic congestion, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Monday, October 19, 2015 to Friday, October 23, 2015
6:30 am to 7:30 am (1 hour)
*In case of stormy weather, it will be canceled.
3. Detour

4. Congestion alleviation experiment
- Todanishi near the IC is In-bound tends to decrease speed for the hill, there to congestion and traffic is concentrated occurs.
- By closing the entrance, traffic concentration is suppressed and traffic flow is improved.
- As a result, congestion is expected to be alleviated.
5. Information leaflet
- A notice board, leaflets, etc. will be posted on general national highway No. 298 and rest facilities in front of the Toda Nishi IC entrance.
