About result of tax examination

East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Hirose Hirohiro) issued a correction notice as a result of the tax examination by the Tokyo National Taxation Bureau for corporate taxes in 2014 and 2015. We will receive it on April 27, and we will pay approximately 200 million yen including corporate tax for 2015 including local taxes.

This is due to the fact that we were pointed out about expenditures that should be treated as capital expenditures for repairing road assets.

Based on the results of this tax examination, we will make further efforts for proper accounting and tax treatment.
