　From the night of December 17th (Friday) to the night of December 18th (Saturday), low pressure systems and strong cold air in the sky are expected to flow into the vicinity of Japan. Due to this effect, there is a risk of snowfall and blizzards over a wide area, mainly from northern Japan to the Sea of Japan side of eastern Japan.
Especially in Niigata and Nagano prefectures, heavy snow is forecast, and depending on the location, the amount of snowfall may be 60 cm or more overnight, and traffic may be closed.
Also, please be aware that there may be snowfall depending on the area even before and after the above period.
If even one vehicle that cannot run on its own occurs on the Expressway, it may lead to long-term traffic jams or road closures. When using the Expressway, be sure to wear winter tires and carry tire chains, and the snowfall forecast may be higher, so please check the latest weather forecast and road information. In addition, please refrain from going out unnecessarily.
