Notice of restrictions on the use of some parking lots due to renewal work

At NEXCO East Japan Utsunomiya Management Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture) and Nexeria East Japan Kanto West Branch (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") Sano (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") to use rest facilities more safely and comfortably. We are renewing the service area (hereinafter referred to as "SA") (down line).
Currently, it is temporarily operated and temporarily operated due to the renovation work of commercial facilities and toilets, but since February 21, 1945, the pavement repair of the entire parking lot and barrier-free work will be started. During the construction period, some parking lots will not be available.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1. 1. Restricted points and date and time

1. Construction site: Tohoku Expressway Sano SA (Out-bound line) parking lot area



2. Construction period: February 21, 4th year of Reiwa (Monday) to late June 4th year of Reiwa (planned)
   • Depending on the progress of construction, the construction period may be extended. In addition, on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and during Golden Week, parking is restricted and construction will not be carried out in principle.

• Attached to each line E4 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.

2. Outline of construction

We will carry out pavement repair work on the entire parking lot and barrier-free work to eliminate the step between the parking lot and the sidewalk. The parking lot area will be divided according to the construction, and construction will be carried out for each area. (The construction range will not be available.)
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

• Commercial facilities and toilets are undergoing renovation work (reconstruction work). (Temporary shops and temporary toilets are available.)

• During the construction period, construction will be carried out in stages to minimize the impact on customers. Please follow the local information signs and pass through the venue.

3. 3. Available facilities

Due to construction, part of the Out-bound line parking area will not be available, but the following facilities will be available.
Temporary toilets, temporary shops, gas stations (normal business), power supply stands (normal business)

• A corner that is open at a temporary shop on the Out-bound line
  Food court, shopping corner, vending machine (24H), Seven Bank ATM (24H)
  Information (weekdays 8:00 to 18:00, weekends and holidays 7:00 to 19:00)

As it is expected to be crowded when parking, please use the surrounding SA / parking area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") during the construction period. In addition, parking lots are partially restricted due to construction work at Toga Seiho PA, and congestion is expected. Please use other SA / PA including the Kita Kita-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Kita Kanto Expressway") to avoid congestion.
