NEXCO EAST Otofuke Management Office (Otofuke Town) will open a commercial underground passage at the Ikeda Interchange (IC) on the E38 Doto Expressway (Doto Expressway Expressway) from May 30, 1945 to mid-November of the same year. With the implementation of the installation work, we will restrict the passage of the entrance side lane (close one side).
During the period, customers using ETC vehicles may also be asked to temporarily stop in front of the tollhouse according to the guidance of the guards. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

2. Contents of construction
In order to prevent contact accidents between the customer's vehicle and the staff, the pavement will be excavated and a commercial passage will be installed underground so that the staff can move between booths without crossing the lane.
3. 3. Precautions when traffic is restricted on the entrance side lane
- During traffic restrictions on the entrance side lane, the staff in the booth will verbally confirm the direction the customer is heading, so we will follow the guidance of the security guards, including customers using ETC cars, and once in front of the tollhouse gate. Please stop.
- When the lane for Sapporo / Obihiro is closed, customers heading for Otofuke-Obihiro IC will be given a toll ticket, including those using ETC cars. When the lanes in the direction of Kushiro / Kitami are closed, the staff will manually process the ETC charges for customers heading toward the Honbetsu IC / Ashoro IC.
- For customers using ETC cars, those who flowed from Ikeda IC to Otofuke-Obihiro IC when the lane for Sapporo / Obihiro is closed will be manually operated by a tollhouse at the tollhouse that passes when leaving the Expressway. Please use the general lane to process the ETC billing.
